This silver mirror window film can help reduce heat and glare by up to 80%. It will also give you excellent daytime privacy. This Mirrored film is suitable for all types of flat glass windows. It can be used in the home or office it is the highest quality professional window film.
Our one-way mirror film is not recommended if you are trying to achieve privacy between internal rooms, unless both rooms have a difference in light ratio, for example, one is darker than the other.
Our Mirror Silver privacy window film works by reflecting whichever side is brightest. Meaning it is fantastic for external facing glazing where the sunlight is brighter than the artificial light. I used this mirror film for my infinity mirror project and it came out pretty well, not bad reflection and smooth surface for window film.
I rarely feel the need to write a review on companies.. sadly, since Covid most organisations seem to have lost the will to care about customer service.
1. Delivery was very prompt, notification of dispatch was actually one of the fastest I’ve received in (dare I say) years.
2. The items were perfectly packaged, the tools came loose inside the main box, but really didn’t matter as the films were in their own tubes.
3. The quality of the film itself - I’ve fitted window film on cars before.. but the quality was significantly different.. this isn’t like the crap I previously used, it didn’t want to fold inside itself, it didn’t flop around and stick to itself, its rigid, but flexible, easy to peel, very easy to cut cleanly and the soap kept everything very easy to move into place.
4. Tools I ordered, mostly adequate, I just wish there was a corner tool.. I’m not a professional at this, and watching the video, I couldn’t get clean corners, but I was also trying way too hard to get the perfect sizing with my cut. I would really recommend letting a 1m gap happen around the edges.. I was stupidly cutting on the outside of the edging tool, but when I followed the video more explicitly, cutting on the inside of the edging tool gave me far better results.
I’m really happy with my purchase, I ordered more than I needed to account for my likelihood of failures, but instead, I’ve ended up with excess, which I’m happy for.
Criticisms - I only have 2, and these are just me being particular.
1. Naming the tubes and content/sizing would have been great, I was concerned of damaging the film as I needed to open up and measure what sizes they were.. the order was exact, but just would have been good.
2. Corner edging tool in the basic tool pack.. I thought one of the corners of the card piece would have a straight edge corner instead of rounded, but it didn’t, and my credit cards seem to also have a rounded edges..
If you want window tint film, I fully praise this company.
Quick delivery, thank you. Watch the video on how to apply first and read leaflet carefully!. Use plenty of slip solution. I found the trickiest part was trimming around the window pane so take your time, I used a metal edged ruler. Very pleased with the results…so good bye to horrible net curtains.
I absolutely love this product. Saw it on other houses locally and thought it looked very smart. I live opposite a convenience store with heavy footfall and have wooden blinds at my window. Thought it would be the perfect solution to have a little bit of privacy during the day. The film is only effective during daylight. You would still need main curtains when it is dark as you can see straight through it. Very simple to apply to windows but would recommend watching a video first. Would also recommend the yellow square plastic block to smooth out the bubbles and to get the film tightly into the corners of the window. Definitely need a SHARP Stanley knife too. I was a bit disappointed when I first put it up as I couldn’t get all the bubbles out. However after a couple of weeks, it seemed to dry out completely and the bubbles all seem to have evaporated and I love how it looks. I showed my mum and she asked me to order some for her too. I only intended to do the front of my house but I ended up doing the whole house, which enabled me to throw all my old net curtains (dust collectors!) and now the house is flooded with light. My sister has seen it too and she also will also be ordering some soon. The knack is to thoroughly clean your windows before applying, then after they are clean, completely saturate the glass again and the sticky side of the film too, to allow movement of the film when you try to apply to the window (as was said in another review). I would 100% recommend this product. Arrived very promptly, packed well.
